It is a reading lamp that takes inspiration from the design of the 1950s. The base allows adjusting the inclination of the main axis according to 2 different angles. The olive wood that adds character to many parts of this lamp, is derived from century-old plants that have died naturally. This material, with its dark grain immersed in a honey-colored matrix, is unique and always recognizable with respect to other types of wood. The curious name of this lamp comes from the corian "hat", which recalls the one of the abbess, a superior nun with a similar role to that of the abbots. The corian parts were also exclusively designed for this lamp and are handcrafted by Tonio, creator and designer of Suor Marika.
In 2018, a maximum of 10 numbered pieces will be produced of Suor Marika.
